Wifi: A new comedy by Lead Network.

Lead Network was just voted the lead new network in television, and that may have given it a big boost of confidence, because they have been picking up pilots like crazy. For today's post, it's all about "Wifi," the new comedy coming February 2nd.

The new series is about five teenagers (What isn't anymore?) that are all secretly nerds - popular or not - and they come together to make a web show titled "Wifi." The 'plot twist' is that these teens may damage everything they've worked so hard for if they continue doing the show. I'm guessing grades, relationships, etc.

The new series stars Lead Network regular Mario Azabo, Marranda Dahlin, Jaden White, Drake Kello, and Catelyn Ramos. Some of these stars have never ever been on a TV Show, some never acted. I don't think it will hurt the show, but it has a big chance of doing so. Mario Azabo is back again with Lead Network and that's always turned out great.

So, what are you going to do? Are you looking forward to "Wifi?" Sound off in the comments below.

The Kane Chronicles: Book-To-Television!

"The Kane Chronicles" is originally a book series, but now PBS has made it into a mini-series. I am guessing that each episode will be a book title. The author is Rick Riordan, and he has lots of fans, so that will give them a lead in. Also, the show has a pretty interesting outline and parents will be happy with it, as well. It is educational about ancient Egypt.

But, with everything, people hate it and people love it. The fans of Rick Riordan's previous very famous and very popular books, are kinda rude. Sending racist tweets to basically PBS. Here's the reason:

Carter Kane, in the books, is African-American, while his sister is white. This is because of their parents. While one is African American, the other is white. The actor chosen to play Carter Kane was not based on looks, but on skill. He didn't quite have the look for Carter Kane, but he had amazing talent. Mario Azabo was picked to be Carter Kane and because of that, people have been sending a lot of hate towards PBS and Mario, himself. We ask you to please kindly respect our choices and watch the series. You will be astonished and amazed at what the work has come to be. It is a true masterpiece. It doesn't matter what your skin color is, it only matters if it gets to the point, which it does. Thank you .

This excerpt was from http://www.cajonvalley.jimdo.com, one of the production companies (along PBS) that produced this mini-series. Here are some snaps from twitter users expressing their feelings. (Click to enlarge)

This tweet was tweeted by cast member, Mario Azabo, who got most of the hate. In this tweet, he is announcing the news that he has been cast as Carter Kane.

Now, let's get on to the best part - the info!

The Kane Chronicles website states:

The Kane Chronicles is originally a best-selling series by best-selling author, Rick Riordan. The Kane Chronicles focuses on Carter and Sadie Kane, two teenagers and siblings, that have to overcome their differences and work to save the world from Egyptian gods who want nothing but chaos.

The Silver Donkey: Literature Comes to Life!

Remember that book that your sixth grade teacher made you read? Yeah, it was about a silver donkey? Well, now it's about to be turned into a movie. Don't you wish it was turned into a movie when you were reading it, so you could just go and watch it then?

The official poster hails to the right. "The Silver Donkey" is originally written by Sonya Hartnett, and it centers around two girls, Marcelle and Coco. Marcelle is ten, and Coco is eight. They find a lost soldier who is temporarily blinded because of the war. They treat him with food and water, but he asks from them one thing - to find his younger brother, John. As they go on this journey, the soldier gives them a silver donkey and tells them stories about John and himself. I'm sure the movie will somehow revolve around this story line. Anyways, let's move on.

The cast and the crew - The movie stars Jacob Ruth, Mario Azabo, Serena Wilson, and Jessie Wilson. Ruth stars as the solder, Azabo stars as John, Serena Wilson stars as Marcelle and Jessie Wilson stars as Coco. The crew is an upcoming one, with new director Johnny Meno, and Michael Hermx and Catelyn St. Inchcomb hold the titles of producers. The writers are Sonya Hartnett (the book) and Geraldine Meno (the movie)

The status of the movie is that they are currently filming the project. They are filming in the woods of San Diego, California. I think I am liking the sounds of this movie. It looks like a good one. Watch the teaser trailer below.

T.V. Movie by Janice Raymond!

The New Girl

Photo from MoviesOnTV, N/A if official poster.

****FILMING FOR THIS MOVIE WILL BEGIN JUNE 2013, WITH PRODUCTION COMPANY CVU!

The New Girl is a new Television Movie directed, written, and produced by the one and only, Janice Raymond. Starring Logan's Mario Azabo, Catherine Kworkys, Daisy Hyde, and Jacob Ruth, the movie is about a new girl moving into Monte Tech Middle School, where everything is technology.

By the dull poster, you would say she would have a bad experience, but she actually has a really good one. It's the people around her that have a bad experience.

Also, by "she" I mean Daisy Hyde (Samantha Polland) or "The New Girl."

While, she is making new friends like Mario Azabo (Raymen Kardinal) and Catherine Kwrkys (Lauren Barterer) she is also trying to get everything ready for her new school. As it is a TECH school, her dad (Jacob Ruth) can't afford a laptop or computer for her, so she has to find her own way to earn the money.

She doesn't tell anyone this, until one day, she finally tells Azabo's character. After one of the girls overhear it, they tell the whole school, and this is where it goes downhill. Hyde's characters accuses Azabo's character of telling everyone, and that's where everything is being torn apart for her.

Rating for description: 82/100. This seems like a good story, and it's not one you hear everyday. It's not your basic mean-girl bullying movie with the happy ever after ending. Can't wait to see what is in store for this T.V. Movie.

Currently, it is still finding most of its cast, but the main characters are already cast.

Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn.

This is the movie that is being talked about all around, on Twitter and Facebook.

Now that he's done filming the Disney Channel's Wizards of Waverly Place, star Jake T. Austin can move onto the next logical step: playing one of the greatest literary protagonists of the past 200 years. Austin will play Huck Finn to Super 8 newcomer Joel Courtney's Tom Sawyer in Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn, which will start shooting in -- wait for it -- Bulgaria this August. I suppose the material is ready for Disney alum treatment now that its pesky slurs have been eradicated. Should "Nickelodeon" also join the list of banned words? This film also stars Disney's Girl vs Monster, Katherine McNamara.
